Infraction Appeal Forum

Discussion in 'Suggestion Box' started by Divine, Jun 5, 2010.

With the number of infractions being handed out, it would be more efficient if users were able to create but not view topics to appeal infractions. The case can be reviewed by more than one mod and would provide an opportunity for the offending mod to explain themselves.

When you PM a mod, they just create a thread in their secret section I believe.

Personally I don't think this is an ordinary members business. For us it effectively works in the same way. Instead of posting you PM.

That is little more efficient than the current method of PM'ing any mod, mod posts in mod forum, mods discuss, mod PM's user with outcome.

It's certainly more effective and easily implemented, at least on IPB with permission masks, not quite sure of VB.

It is not in any way more effective. All it does is eliminate the delay between the sending of the appeal and the creation of the thread in the mod forum.
