Cloth Armor Mastery

Since my thread on Mage weapons was a success, I thought I'd branch it out to a similar thread for mage armor. However, one factor in evaluating armor is the bonus granted by armor mastery. I was uncertain if all Cloth Masteries are the same and, perhaps more importantly, the amount of Intelligence granted by wearing the armor. My first finding, which is probably already well known, is that Cloth Masteries seem to grant the same amount of Mana Regeneration, Casting Speed, and Mana Pool increases. However my research into Intelligence gains has been inconclusive. I need more data. Thus I need some additional help from the community. Below I've provided the data I have collected so far, I'd appreciate it if others could contribute additional data.

    How to help
    1. If you have a character with Cloth Armor Mastery, fill out the following.
    2. Character Level
    3. Character Class
    4. Item Name
    5. Item Reinforcement Bonus
    6. Item Level
    7. Item Rarity
    8. Item Quality
    9. Intelligence Bonus provided by armor

So I figured the formula out.
First off, all classes with Cloth Mastery currently gain the same bonus from items. The bonuses are primarily due to level, but are also affected by reinforcement and rarity.

    Variables
    • ItemType = Head/Shoulders = 0.2, Top = 0.3, Bottom = 0.25, Belt = 0.15, Shoes = 0.1
    • ItemLevel = The level of the Item
    • RarityBonus = 0 for Whites and Blues, 2 for Purples and Greens, 4 for Pinks (LHCGreg found it in the data files), I don't know about oranges
    • ReinforcementBonus = = +4:1, +5:1, +7:2 (I don't have samples for the others yet. I don't know how it scales. It might be something as simple as +1 level per 5 reinforcements.)

    The Formula
To Calculate the gain from an entire set of armor with the same RarityBonus, ReinforcementBonus, and ItemLevel:
    • Total Set: 20 + 1 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus + ReinforcementBonus)
To calculate the gain from a single piece of armor:
    • Individual Pieces: (20 + 1 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus + ReinforcementBonus))*ItemType
By applying ItemType to each of the Armor pieces, we can arrive at the individual piece formulas.
    • Shoulder: 4 + 0.2 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus) + ReinforcementBonus
    • Top: 6 + 0.3 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus) + ReinforcementBonus
    • Bottom: 5 + 0.25 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus) + ReinforcementBonus
    • Belt: 3 + 0.15 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus) + ReinforcementBonus
    • Shoes: 2 + 0.1 * (ItemLevel + RarityBonus) + ReinforcementBonus
*Note. There are many different ways to arrange this formula. I chose this one because it is relatively straightforward to understand, although cumbersome to calculate.

    Examples
Silk Tunic Level 45 Blue Top
    6 * 0.3 *(45 + 0) = 19.5 Bonus Intelligence

Circle Mage Uniform +7 Level 45 Green Top
    6 * 0.3 *(45 + 2) +0.6 = 20.7

    End Game Sets
I now provide some Intelligence Bonuses granted from end game sets
    • 45 Blue: 65 Int
    • 45 Purple: 67 Int
    • 45 Green Set (45s and 40s): 64.75
    • 40 Green Set (40s and 35s): 59.75

    Notes
Thanks goes out to Soltis and Rhaeven for helping me with data collection.
Thanks goes out to LHCGreg for finding the hidden Grade stat
The ItemType Coefficient is also used for the other bonuses granted by the armor mastery. It might also be used to calculate the armor that each individual piece provides.
  4. LHCGreg Code monkey like Fritos

I noticed that (ItemLevel + RarityBonus) happens to equal the hidden Grade stat which is also used in calculating what equips can drop from a given area or monster. RarityBonus should be 4 for pinks.
  5. Sie_Sayoka Public Enemy #1

Good to know that there's not much variation, thanks.
