Shame. Guess they did their homework to fix them ads, I assume those ads net them quite a bit of revenue when the players don't provide. Still haven't been able to reproduce the firefox error, so I guess it's fixed more or less. Oh well, thanks much for the attempt anyway, if it comes back, it'll definately be appreciated from me, ahahaha

how come the start windowed option doesn't work for me?
  3. LHCGreg Code monkey like Fritos

Because an update to DFO a while ago broke it. There's now no way for it to be implemented.

I believe it's because an in game option for starting windowed is now implemented in the options menu. Just be sure to click the "SAVE" button when you change the in game options. As for resizing the window, the old DFOresizer (if this plug is allowed) still works.

DFOCP can do resizing once the game is started also.

Hello, Im new, and i having some difficulty with DFOCP. What i really want to do is replace the sound packs, and Im pretty sure I have follwed the instructions well. Everything Starts normally but in game, there is no SE volume. Its not muted, and not even the npcs say something. If i Start the game normally using the browser, I have the SE volume no problem. Help is appreciated. BTW ive also tried DFO assist, same problem, it says the undubbing should be working fine, but in game no sound. Thanks

    Matt

DFO CP isn't working right now. Probably because nexon made a change to the website. Any idea on how to fix this?

looking forward to the next update

Things look a little broken on Nexon's website at the moment. Perhaps they'll fix that over the next day, and in turn DFOCP will start working again.

LHCGreg said he no longer has time to update DFOCP. So I guess somebody else will have to do it.

Edit: At a closer look, I didn't realise you have to now login at the top. They have made some huge changes, so I'm not surprised that DFOCP broke.

I will have a look at it once my laptop is fixed (probably in 3 or 4 days) and I have visual studio reinstalled.
  10. I'm also taking a look at it. I already have Visual Studio installed. Nexon seems to be doing it all through light boxes now. I'll take a closer look at the source code and see.

Oh, if you'd rather do it yourself, then go for it. :)

I wouldn't have been able to get visual studio installed for half a week
  12. Oh, feel free to help if you want. I'm just browsing the source code right now.

Oh ok. I did have a pretty good look at it awhile ago (Around 7 or 8 months ago). I really hope I am able to just remember it :p
  14. If anything, if I do fix it, I'll probably move the source code to Github.

Why would you do that? o_o Google code is a perfectly good project host.

I am against moving it. Moving it is completely unnecessary, and will invalidate existing links around the internet to it. It's best to just leave it where it is; if it ain't broken, don't fix it!
  17. Uh you do know that the source code I uploaded is a fixed version of the control panel, right? Plus people are starting to move away from SVN anyways (and its much easier to check out a copy of the source code from Git, since all you have to do is click the download link, and you don't need to install any software to DOWNLOAD the code from a repo).

The patched version can be put on the Google Code project. "All the cool kids use github" is not a valid reason to break existing links and lose change history. Someone wishing to download code is most likely a developer. Git support for Windows is somewhat lacking, while SVN support is excellent.

But, how do you use it? I can't find how to start it.
